This is a rare WW2 painted cloth formation sign badge to the 13 AIR FORMATION SIGNALS (Jon Mills BoBD 866) in good worn condition. This type of badge was made by “DISPLAY PATENTS”. The unit was formed at Hendon in April 1943 to support 84 Group, RAF. The first elements landed in Normandy on 6th July 1944 D + 30 and the unit disbanded on 18 January 1946.
