This is a rare WW2 cap badge to the British Security Co-Ordination (Len Whittaker “Some talk of private armies” 12 – This is the actual badge pictured in the book) in excellent condition. This is believed to be a prototype badge and there is no evidence that it was ever approved for wear or actually ever worn. B.S.C. was set up in New York in 1941 ostensibly to protect British shipping and war supplies in American Ports.
